Abstract
This paper addresses the concept of social justice in different theoretical positions and its relevance within the scope of Community Psychology (GOAL 1), whose attention has been growing through awareness of human rights and the preservation of individual, group and community empowerment. Also, this paper problematizes, critically, the issue of social justice as a concept of social transformation, confronting it with the paradoxes raised by various professional and political barriers, as it affects the interests of all who invest in protecting the status quo and it interferes with power structures resistant to the idea of social change (GOAL 2). In addition, we seek to study the possibility of its effective promotion and implementation as an evaluative project of community relations.
