Abstract

This paper provides a review of literature published in 1995 on the subject of Natural treatment and on-site processes. Topics covered include: Soil-based systems - rapid infiltration systems, overland flow, and slow rate systems. Aquatic plant systems - ponds, free water surface constructed wetlands, and submerged flow constructed wetlands; and, On-site systems.
