Erratum: A family of lowered isothermal models [MNRAS, 454, 1 (2015) (576-592)] DOI: 10.1093/mnras/stv1848

Abstract

This is an erratum to the paper 'A family of lowered isothermal models', which was published in MNRAS, 454(1), 576 (2015). In section 2.1.5, the right-hand sides of equations (20) and (21). There is also a typo in the expression of σ2S(r) (equation 41) in section 4.2. The correct notation is σ2S(r) = σ2r[1-β(r)(1-R2/r2)] (41). These printedmistakes do not affect any of the figures. The LIMEPY code1 had the correct version of σ2S(r) implemented, and there are therefore no ramifications for publications that used LIMEPY models.
