ANALISIS DAMPAK ZAKAT TERHADAP KESEJAHTERAAN MUSTAHIK (Studi Kasus Badan Amil Zakat Nasional Kota Pangkalpinang)

Abstract

Among the instruments used by Islam in efforts to alleviate poverty and the welfare of the people, are zakat, infaq, and shadaqoh. Indonesia has a huge potential for financial income from zakat. In 2020 alone, for example, the potential for zakat in Indonesia is Rp. 327.6 trillion. This zakat instrument is expected to be a solution in improving the welfare of the poor. However, the effectiveness and efficiency of the Amil Zakat Agency's programs and institutions cannot be measured. This research was conducted to determine whether or not there is an impact of zakat in shaping the welfare of mustahik. This research was conducted in a case study of zakat management at BAZNAS Pangkalpinang City with a total sample of 50 mustahik. Techniques/methods of analysis and data processing in the form of a quantitative approach, field studies by filling out questionnaires and interviews with mustahik. The data were tested by Validity and Reliability Tests, while hypothesis testing was done by Paired Statistical t-Test. The results of research and analysis of data, found an increase in average household income before and after zakat assistance with an average income before zakat of IDR 1,110,000 to IDR 1,492,241. Likewise with spiritual mustahik. A 10% increase in score was found for each mustahik worship score. Based on the CIBEST Model, the condition of the mustahik after the zakat assistance has changed.
