El Valle del Zújar : un importante enclave para el arte rupestre esquemático en Badajoz

Abstract

En el Vaiie del Zújar, al Este de la provincia de Badajoz, hemos localizado un conjunto de 58 abrigos con pinturas rupestres esquemáticas. Presentan un total de 4.910 figuras. Su distribución espacial ha permitido su agrupación en tres núcleos diferentes: Peñaisordo, Cabeza del Buey y Helechal.In the Valley of Zújar, on the Eastern Side of the Province of Badajoz, we have iocated a group of 58 shelters with schematic paintings. Which contain a total of 4910 figures. Its spacial distribution has permitted us its agrupation into three different nucieus: Peñaisordo, Cabeza del Buey and Helechal.
