Abstract

In this work we present a project-based learning approach to teach basic concepts of electronics to undergraduate students of business and information engineering. In each laboratory session, the students carry out a project using robotics tools and several basic electronics concepts. In this way, students develop skills in electronic circuit design, problem solving and teamwork. Also, the course includes programming in Arduino. The results indicate that learning the fundamentals of electronics through various robotic projects not only motivates students but also allows them to experience and discover the link between physics, technology and engineering.
