Abstract

This study aims at providing a new and unique method to rank the alternatives with interval data in multi attribute decision making problems. Indeed, it is better to use interval data for problems which don't follow deterministic and exact data due to their nature (e.g., time, distance, temperature) or can not be presented easily as deterministic and specific numbers. So, in this study, we seek to develop the solution method for such kind of decision making problem (especially, when it is impossible to present data as fuzzy and thereby the use of fuzzy decision making method. © 2008 Asian Network for Scientific Information.
