Abstract

Crystal structures of Mn3P, Mn2P, and Ni2P were refined by single-crystal methods. Both Mn2P and Ni2P have appreciable homogeneity ranges. X-ray powder investigations of the Mn-P system indicated that existence of the Mn3P2 phase is doubtful.
