Abstract

Treatment of this condition should not be neglected due to the side effects. However, the treatment should only be carried out if parents and daughter regard the expected adult height as undesirable and persist in this opinion. It should not be forgotten that as the management involves a fairly long term treatment of healthy girls with large dosages of hormone drugs, each treatment demands thorough discussion between doctor and patient (or her parents). In this respect, the question of what predicted height should govern treatment or lack of treatment is an individual matter.
