Abstract
Caribbean religions are themselves always chang- ing, always reinventing themselves. The Encyclopedia of Caribbean Religions does not cover everything that could be said about religion in the region. However, the editors trust that the encyclopedia, as a tool for researchers and readers and as an aid to teachers and practitioners, will lead to a better understanding of the role of religion in Caribbean life and society, the Caribbean diaspora, and wider national and transnational spaces
