Abstract

Two simple palladium(II) pyridine-2,6-dicarboxamide complexes coordinated to CuAAC derived "click" 1,2,3-triazole ligands are described. Addition of a more basic 4-dimethylaminopyridine (DMAP) ligand to these palladium(II) "click" complexes leads to complete displacement of the 1,2,3-triazole ligands by DMAP. The process can be completely reversed by treatment with acid.
