Abstract
Two isomeric melampolides, melampomagnolide A and melampomagnolide B, were isolated from the newly formed leaves of Magnolia grandiflora. Their stereochemical structures were established by spectroscopic means, and by chemical correlation with soulangianolide A and parthenolide, respectively. © 1984.
