Abstract

In the gall bladder epithelium of the mouse images have been observed which indicate that pale cytoplasmic droplets discharge their contents into the lumen and apical apocrine-like projections seem to reflect an extrusion process of superfluous cytoplasmic portions. These results speak for the possibility that there is an excretory or secretory mechanism in the mouse gall bladder epithelium. © 1968, Editorial Board of Okajimas Folia Anatomica Japonica.
