Abstract

Problems of translation and interpretation are addressed in this presentation of Alfonso de Zamora's Hebrew and Hebrew "Aljamiado" Spanish notes (ca. 1530) from Leiden University Library Ms. Or. 645 (ol. Warner 65) containing anecdotes, sayings and short tales. Additional notes dealing with a manuscript copy of the Targum to the Prophets comissioned by the University of Salamanca are also discussed.
