Hubungan Tingkat Motivasi dengan Pendapatan Usahatani Petani Sawi (Brassica Juncea) Menggunakan Benih Nonsertifikat di Desa Sukorambi Kecamatan Sukorambi Kabupaten Jember

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) analyze the motivation level of mustard farming farmers in Sukorambi Village Sukorambi District Jember Regency (2) analyze mustard farmer income in Sukorambi Village Sukorambi District Jember Regency (3) analyze the relationship between farmer motivation and mustard farm income in Sukorambi Village Sukorambi District, Jember Regency. This research method uses descriptive and analytic methods. Determination of the sample using Simple Random Sampling. The data analysis method is using score tabulation, income analysis, and Spearman Rank. The results showed that: (1) The average score of motivation level of farmers in doing mustard farming using non-certified seeds was 52.59. This score is classified in the high category. The number of farmers with high scores was 67.27%. The average score of the Expectancy indicator is 23.05 in the high category, the average Valence indicator is 16.65 in the high category, and finally the average score of the Instrumentality indicator is 12.89 in the high category . (2) The financial income of farmer mustard farms in Sukorambi Village, Sukorambi District, Jember Regency is profitable, with an average of Rp. 7676.41 / m2. (3) There is a close positive relationship between the level of motivation and income of farmers. This is indicated by the correlation value of 0.659.
