Palu City is one of the active seismic areas in Indonesia. The high level of seismic activity in this region is inseparable from its location from the impact zone of three major tectonic plates of the world, namely Indo-Australia, Eurasia and the Pacific. Building damage has become one of the problems caused by earthquakes. Many buildings such as government buildings, educational facilities, worship facilities and health are the impacts caused by the earthquake that struck. The purpose of this study was to provide an overview of the data to assess the building damage conditions. The building data that has taken will be processed using a geographic information system with the Inverse Distance Weighting (IDW) method. Distribution patterns of building damage analyzed using the Inverse Distance Weighting (IDW) method can be mapped. Evenly distributed damage classification values will give results that are closer to the actual conditions. Visual Quick Assessment is influenced by the level of damage according to the standard damage classification value set.
