Abstract

We report the case of a 64-year-old man demonstrating symptoms of multiple solar keratoses, multiple Bowen's diseases, multiple squamous cell carcinomas arising in solar keratoses and basal cell carcinoma which are all considered to have been caused by overexposure to the sun. He had no metastasis, but multiple areas of precancerosis still existed on his antebrachium. As a result, this case must be followed up carefully. We also discuss various aspects regarding skin carcinomas induced by ultraviolet light. © 2002, Western Division of Japanese Dermatological Association. All rights reserved.
