Abstract

The sequential rotation technique is used for the design of circularly polarized (CP) dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) subarrays. Two configurations are considered. The first one employs linearly polarized (LP) DRA elements, whereas the other one uses CP DRA elements. The characteristics of the two configurations are compared and discussed. In the CP-element case, the performance of the subarray is also compared with that of the single-element configuration.
