Abstract

In this note, some analytical solutions for steady state vertical infiltration are presented. The forms of unsaturated hydraulic conductivity function used in the study are the rational power model of the form K(Ψ) = Ks/[1 + (αΨ)β] and the Brooks and Corey [1964] model. The work presented in this note complements Warrick's [1988] solutions for evaporation and provides analytical solutions for vertical infiltration.
