Abstract

A digital LSI circuit for learning and odor recognitionusing 1 bit-stream data processing method is proposed. Theoutput pattern of the QCM sensor array is measured and isclassified by a circuit based upon the LVQ algorithm. Onlya small amount of circuitry and wiring are required whenthe 1-bit data processing method is adopted. The wholecircuit was realized utilizing FPGAs, and odor recognitionwas successfully performed.
