Research on customer's electricity consumption behavior pattern

Abstract

The fine-grained customer load data provides a large amount of information for the analysis of customer's electricity consumption behavior pattern. Therefore, this paper proposes an algorithm for identifying the electricity consumption patterns of electric power users based on k-means algorithm. Our method is verified on the electricity consumption data of Irish residents and Shanghai Southern Industrial and Commercial users. The experimental results show that our method can divide the curves with similar electricity consumption patterns efficiently.
