UPAYA PENINGKATAN KOMPETENSI GURU BERBASIS SUPERVISI KLINIS DI SMP NEGERI 04 KABUPATEN TEBO

Abstract

This study aims to improve teacher competence based on clinical academic supervision at SMP Negeri 04 Tebo Regency, Jambi Province, for the 2021/2022 academic year. This research is a school action research (PTS). The research will be conducted in three cycles. The first cycle consisted of two meetings and the second and third cycles consisted of two meetings with a series of activities that included planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The instruments used in this study include observation sheets, questionnaires and evaluation test sheets. The research was conducted in three cycles. The research subjects used as sources to obtain data are teachers who teach at SMP Negeri 04 Tebo Regency for the 2021/2022 academic year. The results of the study can be obtained the following data: (a) Clinical supervision carried out by the head of SMP Negeri 04 Tebo Regency can improve teacher competence. This can be seen from the results of observations and test results that show an increase from one cycle to the next, (b) Teachers at SMP Negeri 04 Tebo Regency showed a positive response to the actions of the principal in providing clinical supervision in improving competence. This fact is reinforced by his statement on the questionnaire that was filled out by the teacher as the subject and at the same time the respondent of the research. it was concluded that clinical supervision was proven to significantly improve teacher competence at SMP Negeri 04 Tebo Regency for the 2021/2022 academic year. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi guru berbasis supervisi akademik klinis di SMP Negeri 04 Kabupaten Tebo Provinsi Jambi tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. Penelitian yang dilakukan merupakan penelitian tindakan sekolah (PTS). Penelitian akan dilakukan sebanyak tiga siklus. Siklus pertama terdiri dari dua pertemuan dan siklus kedua dan ketiga terdiri dari dua pertemuan dengan serangkaian kegiatan yang mencakup perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi dan refleksi. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi, lembar observasi, angket dan lembaran tes evaluasi. Penelitian dilakukan sebanyak tiga siklus. Subjek penelitian yang dijadikan sumber untuk memperoleh data adalah guru-guru yang bertugas mengajar di SMP Negeri 04 Kabupaten Tebo tahun pelajaran 2021/2022. hasil penelitian dapat diperoleh data sebagai berikut: (a) Supervisi klinis yang dilakukan kepala SMP Negeri 04 Kabupaten Tebo dapat meningkatkan kompetensi guru. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil observasi dan hasil tes kemampuan yang menunjukkan peningkatan dari satu siklus ke siklus berikutnya, (b) Guru-guru di SMP Negeri 04 Kabupaten Tebo menunjukkan respon yang positif terhadap tindakan kepala sekolah memberikan supervisi klinis dalam meningkatkan kompetensi. Kenyataan ini diperkuat dengan pernyataannya terhadap angket yang diisi oleh guru sebagai subjek dan sekaligus responden penelitian. disimpulkan bahwa supervisi klinis terbukti secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan kompetensi guru di SMP Negeri 04 Kabupaten Tebo tahun pelajaran 2021/2022.
