Abstract
The functionality of automated tool developed for computing quality metrics to assess the satellite image quality and characteristics is presented in this paper. The tool facilitates to analyse quantitatively different sets of satellite images. This tool can also be used to compare the different sets of satellite images. In this paper, we present quality metrics based on single image and multiple images, thus aiding in relative characterization. The tool estimates the Modulation Transfer Function (MTF) and converts the gray image to reflectance image. GUI has been developed for operational convenience and a log file is maintained for recording the generated parameters.
