Early radiation-induced lung injury in a patient with prior diagnosis of bronchiolitis obliterans organizing pneumonitis

Abstract

This case study is to report the observation that clinically diagnosed radiation pneumonitis (geometrically conforming to the radiation treatment volume) occurred at a sub-threshold radiation dose in a patient with a previous history of pathologically diagnosed bronchiolitis obliterans organizing pneumonitis.
