Dinâmica institucional e lastro internacional: para um diagnóstico da crise política brasileira (2013–2022)

Abstract

Comprehensive appraisal of Brazilian politics in the last decade, from the institutional framework depicted by political science in previous years to some foreseeable perspectives to the future, this papers aims at a synthesis of the main traits of the Brazilian case, covering topics such as institutional dynamics and their conditions of stability; dysfunctionalities of the electoral campaign financing regulation and its clash with a system of controls, itself precariously controlled; the drift towards a government hostile to the constitutional order, leading to a worsened predatory environment; interaction of the Brazilian crisis with an international environment of democratic corrosion; prospects for eventually overcoming the destructive drift, its dependence on the external scenario.
