Abstract

In this paper, the integral equation fast Fourier transform (IE-FFT) is implemented to solve the 3D full and partial coating scatterers. The real boundary condition is approximated by impedance boundary condition. The IE-FFT is utilized to accelerate the matrix-vector multiplication in the conjugate gradient (CG) iterative solver. And the Mesh Neighbor preconditioner is used to improve the iterative convergence of the CG solver. Copyright © 2009 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
