The late Carboniferous vertebrate fauna of Kounova (Bohemia) compared with that of the Texas redbeds

Abstract

"The late Carboniferous vertebrate fauna from Kounova, Czechoslovakia, originally described by Fritsch, is redescribed and compared with the essentially contemporary fauna of the Texas redbeds. The assemblages from the two areas are strikingly similar, suggesting intimate geographical connections between Europe and North America in late Paleozoic times."
