PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN METODE BERCERITA MENGGUNAKAN MEDIA BONEKA TANGAN TERHADAP PERKEMBANGAN BAHASA PADA ANAK USIA 5 – 6 TAHUN DI PAUD LABORATORIUM MODEL UMP

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to obtain accurate information about the effect of the storytelling method in learning on language development in children aged 5-6 years in PAUD (PG&TK) Model Laboratory of the University of Muhammadiyah Pontianak. The type of research used is quantitative research with a pre-experimental approach. This study used a pretest-posttest design. In this study, the population is group B. The instruments used are observation sheets and check lists. Data collection techniques in this study using observation techniques and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique used statistics with the T test with the help of SPSS 16. Based on the data analysis and discussion of the research results, it was obtained the calculation of Cohen's value of 0.27, so it can be concluded that there is a slight influence of the storytelling method using hand puppet media on the language development of children aged 5-6 year.Keywords: Language Development, Storytelling Methods, Hand Puppet
