Abstract

The paper discusses the image presented in the contents of four newspapers: La Nación, Diario Extra, Semanario Universidad and El País, about the conflict over the mining project Crucitas, seeking to understand the discourse that each newspaper seeks to express about the issue, especially the way they interpret this social conflict. The selected study period runs between May 8, 2010 and May 7, 2011, the first year of the Chinchilla Miranda's Administration. (English) [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
