Abstract
This study investigates the implementation of cross-mentoring programs as an effective strategy to facilitate knowledge transfer between generations in corporate environments. Considering the growing demographic and technological challenges faced by organizations, the need for innovative solutions that promote collaboration across different age groups is increasingly essential. The article introduces a modern, ready-to-apply rewards model aimed at fostering intergenerational cooperation, easily adaptable to companies of all sizes and industries. Cross-mentoring not only improves employees' adaptability to new professional experiences and technologies but also cultivates a culture of continuous learning. Moreover, it significantly enhances employee engagement and talent retention, both crucial elements in today’s competitive environment. The proposed model blends intrinsic and extrinsic rewards, offering benefits like public recognition, additional time off, and career development opportunities, maximizing program effectiveness. By providing a clear method for calculating Return on Investment (ROI), the study highlights the financial viability of these programs, demonstrating that they serve as both a strategic tool for employee development and a worthwhile investment for organizations. The findings reveal that companies adopting this model are better positioned to build a resilient, innovative workforce, capable of navigating future challenges. The flexible framework ensures that this mentoring program can be seamlessly integrated into organizations' talent development strategies, regardless of their size or structure.
