Abstract

La plasticidad sináptica es un mecanismo a través del cual el sistema nervioso modifica la cantidad y/o intensidad de sus conexiones sinápticas en diferentes regiones. Este mecanismo participa en la formación de memorias, pero también es importante para potenciar la recuperación del cerebro tras algún daño. En el artículo se revisarán algunos procesos en los que participa la plasticidad sináptica.
