Abstract

Presents evidence in 38 chapters from all sides of the extinction controversy. The debate now includes New Zealand and Australia, as well as North America, South America, China, Africa and the Pacific Islands. Chapter editors are drawn from the fields of archaeology, ecology, geology and zoology as well as palaeontology. Throughout there are numerous maps, charts and tables.
