Abstract

The development of innovative means for university sports teaching is a growing research topic today. This study aims to determine the effect of the VR-assisted instruction on student performance in 10 sport disciplines across three universities in Western Kazakhstan. The study sample had 210 students from three different universities in Western Kazakhstan. The correlation analysis revealed a strong relationship of VR-assisted training with higher performance at the city tournament and the higher quality of the sports practice work. The proposed solution allows universities to create an effective training program for student-athletes.
