Abstract

Online and blended learning has become an important educational channel, it is advantageous as it can break through the limitations of physical locations, to support both synchronous and asynchronous learning. The characteristics of online learning have also influenced various aspects of the traditional narrative. Based on the knowledge of virtual narrative, this paper explores how to obtain a certain degree of immersive experience through online tools, along with the advanced methods of immersive typologies under new study. A basic theoretical framework is provided starting from the analysis of 24 cases and related online learning tools, to bridge the gap between virtual narrative and education. For the result, the framework and application correspondence of education with narrative are proposed.
