Abstract

Introduction: Adolescents have a big role in conveying nutritional information to their fellow teens (peers) in the effort to prevent stunting Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of nutrition counseling using animated video media on the knowledge and attitudes of the Majapahit Genre Personnel management. Methods: The design of this study used a pre-experimental one group pretest posttest. The research sample was 29 people. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. Results: Data analysis using the Paired T-Test analysis technique showed that there was an effect of nutrition counseling with animated video media on knowledge with p value = 0.000 < 0.05. Then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Data analysis using the Paired T-Test analysis technique showed that there was an effect of nutrition counseling with animated video media on attitudes with p value = 0.003 < 0.05. Then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Conclusion: That nutrition counseling with animated media has a significant influence on the knowledge and attitudes of the youth administrators of the Majapahit Insan Genre, Mojokerto Regency.
