Abstract
A new technique has been used to measure the secular variation of the intensity of the Earth's magnetic field from eight sites in the eastern Mediterranean. Some 90% of the data lie within a band whose width is 10%. The power spectrum reveals a single peak corresponding to a period of 1430 years. -Author
