Abstract

The objective of this research study was to explore the processes of adjudication of social interest housing (SIH) in two projects in Tunja city (Colombia). The methodology had a descriptive exploratory approach. This study assessed 90 families involved in the SIH program. A survey was used to collect information related to the execution of the projects and the degree of user satisfaction. The data collected was processed using R. The results showed that the degree of user satisfaction is relatively low regarding: 1) the time elapsed for the adjudication of the SIH, 2) the physical-spatial characteristics of some houses, and 3) the administrative processes managed by contractor companies. It is concluded that the SIH program improves life quality by a high percentage, but there are aspects that require optimization.
