Abstract

This paper reports the synthesis of (Cp2-ZrMe)(μ-F)[(Me3Si)3CAlF2] (1), [(Cp2Zr)(μ-F)2[(Me3Si) 3-CAlF]]2O (2), and [Na(Me3Si)3CAlF3(THF)]4 (3). 1 was prepared by the reaction of [(Me3Si)3CAlF2]3 with Cp2-ZrMe2 and Me3SnF. Compound 1 reacts with THF to form 2. The reaction of (Me3Si)3CAlMe2(THF) with Me3-SnF and NaCl affords 3. The molecular structures of compounds 1-3 have been determined by single-crystal X-ray structural analysis.
