Abstract
The present status of experiments for neutrinoless double-beta decay searches (β β (0ν ) )is reviewed. With the present knowledge of neutrino masses and mixing parameters, after the results of neutrino oscillations experiments, there are indications that a β β (0ν) at a neutrino mass scale mν ≈10-50 meV could be possible. These values represent a real challenge for the new proposed β β (0ν ) projects, which are reviewed in this paper.
