Abstract

This article aims to verify Thrasymachus' theses on justice and whether they are consistent with one another. As such, it is necessary to observe the relation between justice and government, as well as the force (krátos) which determines it. The objective is to revive in actual times the discussions about Thrasymachus' theses within Plato's philosophy, and to demonstrate its importance in the scope of political philosophy.
