Is agritourism an opportunity and challenge for the Valle of San Quintin, Baja California, México?

Abstract

Agritourism includes productive and recreational activities in a single space generating extraordinary income. Therefore, the components of agritourism were identified to include them in a project and establish whether it is an opportunity or challenge from its management perspective in Valle de San Quintin, Baja California, Mexico. The exploratory method was used and four elements of agritourism were registered. Most businessmen showed interest in complementing productive activities with agritourism. The opportunity must focus on positive actions in order to generate additional benefits and the challenge must establish strategies for adverse situations.
