Abstract
The enthalpies of solution at 985 K for fluorapatite, fluorpargasite, and fluorphlogopite have been measured and their Gibbs energy of formation has been calculated. The experimental results demonstrate that high-T solution calorimetry is a simple and useful technique for obtaining new thermodynamic data for F- bearing minerals.-M.S.
