Abstract

Based on several years of field in Cameroun, six species of frogs belonging to the genus Hylarana are well recognized in this country, two of them being new: Hylarana amnicola n .sp, and Hylarana asperrima n. sp. A tentative check-list of aIl african species, with synonyms, is Holocrinous glands on are tadpoles are observed.
