Abstract

The purpose of this study is providing a method based on DEA to evaluate the performance of Academy Award winners for Best Original Score from 1990 to 2016, and ranking them. Composers are considered as DMUs, and the indicators are derived from experts’ opinions and divided into inputs and outputs. Assuming variable return to scale and applying the B.C.C model, we obtained the efficiency values for all DMUs. Furthermore, all DMUs have ranked.
