Abstract

This article discusses the fundamental milestones in the life of Joaquín V. González, regarding the hundredth anniversary of his death. After a brief biographical review, the article focuses on the contribution that this notable man has made to Argentine constitutional law, in particular, to constitutional case law. In order to pursue this challenge, this article will analyse different court decisions in which, throughout its 160 years of history, the Supreme Court of Justice has cited Joaquín V. González as a lighthouse over conflict.
