Abstract

Dada a situação atual no estado do Pará, sobre as discursões sobre o meio ambiente e a bioeconomia, é imperativo desenvolver um plano abrangente para a sua transformação econômica e social. O Plano de Bioeconomia oferece soluções inovadoras que integram a sustentabilidade ambiental e o crescimento económico, utilizando os abundantes recursos naturais da região. A pesquisa se justifica por meio da lógica por trás da realização deste estudo que decorre das circunstâncias prevalecentes no Pará, onde o desenvolvimento de uma bioeconomia está intrinsecamente ligado aos recursos naturais abundantes e sustentáveis ​​e renováveis ​​disponíveis na região. Diante desse cenário, surge a seguinte questão: como desenvolver a bioeconomia no Pará de forma integrada aos princípios da sustentabilidade socioambiental?. O estudo tem como objetivo analisar o desenvolvimento da bioeconomia no Pará, considerando as potencialidades, os desafios e as perspectivas para a valorização dos recursos biológicos e a biodiversidade do estado, bem como os impactos econômicos, sociais e ambientais dessa abordagem. Este estudo descreve a abordagem adotada para analisar o crescimento da bioeconomia no Pará, com foco no potencial, nos desafios e nas perspectivas do estado para o aproveitamento dos recursos biológicos e da biodiversidade. Para isso, empregou-se um método qualitativo, combinando técnicas exploratórias e descritivas. A pesquisa envolveu extensa revisão de literatura e documentos, juntamente com observações e análise de conteúdo. A bioeconomia é uma abordagem que busca valorizar os recursos biológicos e a biodiversidade de forma sustentável, gerando benefícios econômicos, sociais e ambientais. O conceito de biodiversidade abrange a diversidade de formas de vida encontradas na natureza, que inclui ecossistemas, espécies e genes, juntamente com o conhecimento tradicional e científico ligado a esses recursos. A análise do estudo visou examinar o progresso da bioeconomia no Pará, com foco nas oportunidades, obstáculos e perspectivas para o aproveitamento dos recursos biológicos e da biodiversidade do estado. Além disso, foi possível explorar as implicações econômicas, sociais e ambientais dessa abordagem. Para iniciar a investigação do artigo, foram apresentado uma visão geral da bioeconomia no Pará, possibilitando um aprofundamento nos conceitos e princípios fundamentais da Bioeconomia, explorando as diversas práticas da bioeconomia e seu alinhamento com os Objetivos de Desenvolvimento Sustentável (ODS). O texto destacou as imensas oportunidades bioeconômicas presentes no Brasil, especialmente na região do Pará, ao mostrar seus abundantes recursos naturais e potencial local.Given the current situation in the state of Pará, regarding the discussions on the environment and bioeconomy, it is imperative to develop a comprehensive plan for its economic and social transformation. The Bioeconomy Plan offers innovative solutions that integrate environmental sustainability and economic growth, using the abundant natural resources of the region. The research is justified by the logic behind the realization of this study stems from the prevailing circumstances in Pará, where the development of a bioeconomy is intrinsically linked to the abundant and sustainable and renewable natural resources available in the region. Faced with this scenario, the following question arises: how to develop the bioeconomy in Pará in an integrated way with the principles of socio-environmental sustainability? The study aims to analyze the development of bioeconomy in Pará, considering the potentialities, the challenges and the perspectives for the valorization of the biological resources and the biodiversity of the state, as well as the economic, social and environmental impacts of this approach. This study describes the approach adopted to analyze the growth of bioeconomy in Pará, focusing on the potential, the challenges and the perspectives of the state for the use of biological resources and biodiversity. For this, a qualitative method was employed, combining exploratory and descriptive techniques. The research involved extensive literature and document review, along with observations and content analysis. Bioeconomy is an approach that seeks to value biological resources and biodiversity in a sustainable way, generating economic, social and environmental benefits. The concept of biodiversity encompasses the diversity of life forms found in nature, which includes ecosystems, species and genes, along with the traditional and scientific knowledge linked to these resources. The analysis of the study aimed to examine the progress of bioeconomy in Pará, focusing on the opportunities, obstacles and perspectives for the use of biological resources and biodiversity of the state. In addition, it was possible to explore the economic, social and environmental implications of this approach. To start the investigation of the article, an overview of bioeconomy in Pará was presented, allowing a deepening in the concepts and fundamental principles of Bioeconomy, exploring the various practices of bioeconomy and its alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The text highlighted the immense bioeconomic opportunities present in Brazil, especially in the Pará region, by showing its abundant natural resources and local potential.
