Abstract
Dyaryl-, dialkyl-, and aryltriphenylsilyl- thioketones have been shown to efficiently scavenge thiyl, sulphonyl and selenyl radicals affording adducts identified by ESR spectroscopy. Unprecedented evidence of the trapping of tBuO· radicals by thiones has also been obtained. © 1987.
