Abstract
Diffusion coefficients have been measured polarographically in media with a wide range of viscosities. The range covers five orders of magnitude up to the limits of high viscosity possible by normal polarographic means. The diffusion coefficients obtained are nearly inversely proportional to the viscosity. The diffusion coefficients are in the range of interest to chromatography theory.
