The use of artificial intelligence in personalized learning

Abstract

Every student has his or her own learning time and learning path. Personalized training content for self-paced learning can contribute to learning activities. Personalized learning is based on pedagogical theories that emphasize individualized learning experiences tailored to meet each student's unique needs and preferences. Thanks to developing technology, individualized education can be used more efficiently. Artificial Intelligence (AI), advanced technology, allows it to adapt to each student's learning time and style, making learning more engaging and effective. Notwithstanding its many advantages, the use of AI in educational settings also has risks such as data privacy, ethical concerns, teachers' acceptance of the technology, and increasing inequalities in access to education. Setting security boundaries and addressing ethical concerns will increase the use of AI and expand its potential. Because predicting what AI will do is limited to unlimited imagination. Understanding the basic principles of using AI in education, its potential benefits, and the complex interplay between the benefits and challenges of using AI in personalized learning are crucial to improving the efficiency of personalized learning in the age of AI. This study provides a different perspective on the multifaceted landscape of personalized learning and the important role it plays in shaping the present and future of AI. Additionally, this study provides a holistic overview of the complex interplay between the fundamental principles of personalized learning, the formative impact of AI in education, the multifaceted benefits, and persistent challenges of AI integration in personalized learning, and successful applications in the real world.
