Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to present the implementation of power quality procedures meeting the IEC 61400-21 standard. The system’s architecture is detailed in the paper. An experimental laboratory setup which represents a fixed speed generation system is described. Measurements are carried out to test the proposed algorithm according to the measurement procedure for continuous operation of wind turbines. The assessment procedure is applied to investigate flicker emission.
